Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience working in a collegiate athletic department
  • Professional communication skills to interact with the various publics
  • Basic Excel, Word, etc. skills

Job Duties and Other Information

  • Direct Football Operations
  • Assist Head Coach in all day-to-day operations as they arise
  • Direct report of all support staff members and manage weekly meetings
  • Assist Recruiting Coordinator in all day to day recruiting needs as they arise
  • Liaison to Admissions, Financial Aid and Compliance
  • Oversee all aspects of budget, travel, and team meals
  • Liaison to Training Room, Equipment and Strength Staffs
  • Liaison to facilities/maintenance
  • Liaison to Game Day Operations
  • Liaison to Southland Officials
  • Pro Scout Liaison
  • Complies with all NCAA rules and regulations as per the NCAA Compliance Manual
  • Assists NSU admissions office in identifying and recruiting students who are outstanding academically or in extracurricular activities other than athletics
  • Attends alumni functions and fundraisers as schedule permits
  • Participate in community activities that allow the promotion of sport, the department, and/or the University
  • Identify and cultivate potential donors to the athletic department and the University
